Jerry Davey, the president of Griswold Water Systems announces that Achieve Green LLC will be the Sales Representative for their products in Illinois and Indiana. Achieve Green’s focus is solely on green building technology which fits nicely with the Griswold line of products. Throughout the Midwest, Achieve Green will market to the professionals who have the greatest influence in selecting and specifying green building products and who believe in the environmental benefits of buildings with LEED certification.

June 2010

Achieve Green, led by Dave and John Olszak along with Jerry Davey, the president of Griswold Water Systems, presented to many top architects and engineers in Chicago including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), Environmental Systems Design (ESD), Perkins + Will. The presentations focused on the Griswold Wave, the green method of cooling tower water treatment which eliminates chemicals and allows for the reuse of the water in other building applications.

July 2010

The Griswold Wave was selected by Corp of Engineers as the best green solution to treat the cooling water at the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal Aquatic Nuisance Species Dispersal Barrier. This barrier is intended to keep the Asian carp from swimming up the canal and reaching Lake Michigan and the other Great Lakes. A total of five Griswold Wave units will be installed at this site.

August 2010

There has been much interest among architects and engineers in the Griswold Wave. This month  Dave and John Olszak  and Jerry Davey, the president of Griswold Water Systems, held discussions on the benefits of the Wave at three Chicago engineering firms; Globetrotters Engineering, Lehman Design Associates and Teng & Associates.

November 2010

At the Greenbuild International Expo 2010 in Chicago,  Achieve Green and Griswold Water Systems jointly participated in a booth and greeted attendees with the latest in green building technology products. The Griswold Wave and the Tower Sentry System were highlighted along with discussions on the potential LEED points. Per Dave Olszak, president of Achieve Green; ” The attendees at this event really understand green buildings. The positive response for the Griswold Wave shows a serious interest in the benefits of saving water and eliminating chemicals from the environment.”
